Releasing Lava Rosa hatchlings into their new fry pond
I released the final batch of Lava Rosa hatchlings into their fry pond last weekend. This is the second fry pond for Lava Rosa hatchlings and I expect to harvest the pond in around 5 weeks time. It's one of the most enjoyable parts of koi farming, watching the hatchlings swim off and explore their new pond. You'd be surprised at how quick such small fish spread out across the whole pond!
