A koi to enjoy watching as it's sumi pattern develops. This showa has a heavy sumi pattern which also leaves space for the beni and shiroji patterns to show as highlights. The beni and shiroji quality are also very good so when the sumi finally comes through, it should end up as an interesting looking koi with an unusual but striking pattern.
