Adam's Breeder Notes: Hand selected by me in Japan on my 2023 trip. Incredible yellow (ki) base colour, with high quality skin around the scales creating the 3D effect which looks amazing and is called 'Fukurin'. Solid black (sumi) pattern. Great size for the age too. Volume throughout the length of the koi, and with a large head too this all bodes well for future growth potential.
At the end of every season we review our Japanese Hand Picked Broodstock and decide which we will breed from next year and which we will move on to make space for potential new lines. These are always great high quality fish and represent really competitively priced fish that we are able to make available.
Koi delivery is via a specialist overnight fish courier service that we have been using successfully for many years.
Local pickup is available; choose that option in the checkout process, then once purchased, contact us to arrange collection.
For dry goods, the vast majority of items ordered before midday are shipped the same day, on an overnight service.
